We have a great partnership with College Park Academy and Northwestern High school, nearby public schools in College Park, MD. We had a fantastic time visiting 9 chemistry classes this year. The high school students are always welcoming, and our UMD students put on excellent chemistry lessons. It was fun to talk about paths to becoming a scientist, what college and grad school are like, and different careers you can have in chemistry. We can’t wait to go back!
